LAKE SHAFER RESORT

Each of the 8 rooms has air conditioning, a private bathroom, and parquet floors. Units offer a private balcony with lake views, streaming services on the TV, and a keyless door lock programmed to the last four digits of the guest's phone number. Apartment-style units include a full kitchen with a dishwasher and bedrooms with closets that have USB outlets.

The property has a seasonal outdoor heated swimming pool with sun loungers and beach towels supplied on-site. Guests use a sun terrace, barbecue grills (gas and charcoal), and a picnic area with outdoor furniture. Board games, puzzles, and a paddle boat are available for use without additional charge.

Lake Shafer Resort sits 20 km from the Monon Connection Museum and 47 km from both Elliott Hall Of Music and Moses Fowler House. Free private parking is available on-site, and the Indiana Beach Amusement Park is within walking distance (100 yards). The dock on the lake has space for four boats.

The resort allows dogs, a policy noted by guests as rare for lakefront properties. Designated smoking areas are provided outside. CCTV cameras cover common areas and the exterior, with fire extinguishers and smoke alarms installed throughout.

The on-site hosts check in with guests regularly to ask if anything is needed. Security is handled by key access to rooms, CCTV in common areas and outside the property, plus smoke alarms and fire extinguishers. Heated pool towels are supplied, eliminating the need for guests to bring their own.
